Windows Phone 7.8 update for existing Tango and Mango users

What will be the new features in WP 7.8 update?

Though Microsoft had not yet officially announced the 7.8 update so can’t ask to the Microsoft officials about the added features in it. But what major features are expected are as follows:-

• New homescreen with four live tiles in a row.
• Option two customize tiles in three different mode.
• Bing wallpaper on lockscreen.
• New themes with up to 15 new colors.
• New logos and improvement in tiles of pre-existing official apps like people, messages, etc.
• New look to the marketplace.

Who will get the update?

If the early saying of Microsoft in considered than all smartphones running on 7.x will get the update. But if the market is seen then it seems that Nokia and HTC users will get the update first then any other brand. Carrier of the Smartphone will also play the role, it is heard that last night a leaked e-mail says that AT&T carries will provide this update on 30 January but still no official announcement came out from AT&T also. We have no choice other than waiting for the official announcement to come but it’s clear that within a week we will get some officials out for giving the good news.

NOTE: - The features and update dates are just a rumor still they have no proof for their existence. But since we had seen the SDK out by the Microsoft we can surely say that 7.8 update is not far to come.
